Cellar Door - Bar and Restaurant - Accomodation

Now that the Vineyard is producing top class Pinot Noirs and White wines, the focus can move to development of the Cellar Door. This is to be built in one of the historic old stone buildings around Kinross homestead.
Tastings, picnics, walks and soaking up the very special atmosphere around Anthem as well as tours and the opportunity to take some of the wines home with you, or send it anywhere in the world from the Cellar Door will be available.
December 2008 is the target date for the Cellar Door which will be on State highway 6, Gibbston valley.

The Kinross Homestead is to be developed into a restaurant and bar featuring the wines of Anthem, local food and beer made on site using grapes, local herbs and health-giving ingredients.

The Anthem Winery Experience

The Anthem Winery Experience development will be focused around the north eastern corner of Anthem, directly adjacent to the main Gibbston highway.
Our intention is to create New Zealand's premier vineyard experience.
Included in this area of Anthem will be an iconic winery with state of the art gravity-fed processing facilities. The winery will be dedicated to the production of each Anthem wine which is estimated to be in excess of 300,000 bottles per annum.
The design of our winery will take advantage of the dramatic natural rocky bluffs which separate the land along the highway from the elevated river terraces which make up the Anthem property.
In addition to winery tours, we plan to create a world class restaurant offering New Zealand's finest cuisine. New Zealand's largest underground cave facility will be built complete with an audio visual experience and facilities for functions and dining. A carefully-planned traditional street will also be created which will house several boutique producers of gourmet food and natural crafts.
This will include a working cheesery, coffee roaster, delicatessen, chocolatier, micro brewery, patisserie, butcher and cured meats area, olive oil processing, spring water bottling, lavender press, herb processor and other wellness and revitalisation products.

Our vision is to create an authentic experience for our visitors where we can share the processes behind the production of each premium product, gourmet experience and work of art.
The Anthem Winery Experience is planned to embrace and celebrate the Food, Wine and Art of Anthem.
