Anthem Gewurztraminer 2008
“Grown on our Gibbston Estate,
this wine displays fantastic aromas of Elder flower, Rose petal, Tropical fruits and a subtle peppery/ rocket spiciness.
The palate is perfectly balanced, rich and has great length.”.
The fruit was carefully handpicked and was in ideal condition.
A small portion received skin contact; following this the total was then gently pressed to tank.
The ferment was cool and slow to capture the desired fruit aroma and flavour.
Stopped short of dryness for optimum balance, and a medium style. Bottled September 2008

Anthem Gewurztraminer 2007 
“Grown on our Gibbston Estate, this wine
displays enticing aromas of rose petal, tropical fruits and
a touch of musk. The palate is harmoniously textured with
a lingering richness. Fermentation was stopped before completion
to achieve a medium style”.
The fruit was carefully handpicked, and had
a high proportion of small berries in the bunch “hen and chicken”
(millerandage) determined at flowering. A small portion received
skin contact, following this the total was then gently pressed
to tank. The ferment was cool and slow to capture the desired
fruit aroma and flavour. Stopped short of dryness for best
balance. Bottled September 2007
