Anthem Sauvignon Blanc 2008
“This wine has classic New Zealand flavours of citrus, fresh meadow hay and wild herbs.
Kiwifruit, melon and berryfruit are also apparent and give good depth to this 100% Gibbston Valley Sauvignon Blanc.”.
The fruit was carefully handpicked from a warm, gentle sloping site on the vineyard.
The grapes were gently pressed to tank, with a small portion (<5%) going to French oak barriques for fermentation.
The balance was fermented cool to capture the desired fruit aroma and flavour.
Lees were stirred over several weeks to impart richness and complexity. Bottled September 2008.

wine is rich in aromas of melon and ripe herbs .The vibrant
palate shows complexity, texture and length of flavour”.
The fruit was carefully handpicked from a warm
