In April 2024, New Zealand proudly became the 19th market to welcome Omoda Jaecoo to its shores, marking a significant milestone in the automotive sector. Entering without any above-the-line investment, Anthem was tasked with developing a strategic launch plan to introduce the new brand to Kiwis, driving excitement and awareness.
Anthem launched the Omoda Jaecoo brand in style, hosting media, dealers, and influencers at a glitzy launch event at the Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau. This premium venue set the stage for 130+ guests to receive an exclusive first look at the all new Omoda C5 (petrol) and E5 (fully electric) vehicles while gaining insights into the brand’s vision and future plans.
Using star power to broadcast the event, Shannon Harris (@shaanxo), one of New Zealand’s most internationally recognised social media influencers, was secured to attend as a special guest. She shared her experience behind the wheel of Omoda Jaecoo vehicles, amplifying the brand’s reach through her social channels to over a million followers. Watch her video here.

Anthem’s strategic approach achieved remarkable results, generating over 50 pieces of media and social coverage across top-tier national, automotive and trade publications, such as NZ Herald Driven and Stuff.
