Working with WSP and Opus involved Anthem launching a newly merged entity between Opus, a venerable Kiwi engineering company that’s responsible for many iconic Kiwi buildings, and WSP, a Canadian listed global firm. The task was to find the best of each brand and bring together in a position that was unique and had real cut-through.
We developed the brand framework for the new entity and then created the position of Global and Local Pioneers, – we invented a new word Glocal. From here we created the art you can see which is very cute – a mixture of local and global icons. Anthem managed all the brand strategy, creative and final art and Zenith managed the media which was OOH, digital and print.
The campaign was immensely successful. It has had a total reach of 1.7 million during the launch and increased traffic to their website by 70 percent– 50 percent of these new visitors used the specific campaign URL. The art is still being used for internal and pitch documents and they’re competitors approached us to do the same for them!
We also created a hero video to be used internally at the staff road show and client events to put a human face to the new brand. This was a fast-turn around job that included filming on Boxing Day and in multiple locations around NZ. The result is highly emotive and visually stunning celebration of Opus heritage.
